SAN RAFAEL, CA-The Board of Supervisors of Marin County hasagreed to purchase a portion of the Marin Commons office complexlocated at 600 Los Gamos Road in San Rafael from CIGNA Real Estatefor $29.5 million. The board has also agreed to invest $53 millionfor the conversion of the 315,000-square-foot office park situatedon a 24-acre site into high-tech sheriff's headquarters andemergency operations.
