DALLAS-Anyone familiar with commercial realestate in the Dallas-Fort Worth area can become skepticalwhen the topic turns to the resurgence of downtown Dallas. Theresurgence has been a story for a lot of years, but when oneexamines the continued higher-than-regional average office buildingvacancies in the CBD, there’s a good reason for the skepticism.

“When you ask people about the CBD, they’ll talk about a tale oftwo cities. Ross Avenue north and Ross Avenue south. Or DART linenorth and DART line south (the light rail),” commentsRamsey March, Stream Realty Partners LP’s vicepresident.

But March and Jim Graham, executive vicepresident with Colliers International, tellGlobeSt.com that downtown Dallas is actually poised for some nicecommercial real estate growth. Not necessarily booming, red-hotgrowth. But growth nonetheless.
