SEATTLE-Colliers International has added 14veteran brokers to its San Jose, Redwood City and Sacramentooffices. All but one of the new hires are joining the firm fromGrubb & Ellis, which is being purchased byBGC Partners Inc. after Grubb &Ellis filed for bankruptcy protection.
“We filled important niches, added experience as well as youthto our ranks, and most importantly, we added some fine individualswho fit our culture like a glove,” says JeffFredericks, managing partner of Colliers’ downtown SanJose office.
The San Jose office has added four agents includinginvestment-sales specialist Mark Bruening, hisassociate Drew Brown, industrial/R&D leasingand sales professional John Serex andfinancial-services and asset-management consultant HowardBerry—all formerly with Grubb & Ellis. “I am veryexcited to join a professional team with an extensive amount oftalent, expertise and tools for their brokers and clients,” saysSerex. “Colliers International is a first-class organization thatprovides a great atmosphere to succeed for everyone that workshere.”
