IRVINE, CA-Westcore Properties, a private,entrepreneurial commercial real estate investment firm, hasexpanded its California focus with the opening of a new office inOrange County. The office will be located in Irvine and will beheaded by Neil Johnson, managing director.
The San Diego headquartered firm has regional offices in SanFrancisco and Denver and has completed more than $250 million inoffice and industrial acquisitions in 2011—a number it expects toincrease in 2012 as it “aggressively seeks new opportunitiesthroughout the Golden State,” according to Johnson.
Johnson says that the new Orange County office “will enhance ourability to identify and move quickly on assets that meet ourinvestment criteria within Southern California, especially in theOrange County, Los Angeles and Inland Empire regions.” Johnson, whooversees Westcore’s investment activity throughout the state,previously was based in the company’s San Franciscooffice.
