DALLAS-Toronto-based Tricon Capital Group Inc. and Dallas-basedMatthews Southwest have acquired a 60-acre parcel situated on thesouth side of Dallas Convention Center for a mixed-use development.Tricon has pledged $11.2 million of equity for the purchase anddevelopment.

The $400-million project will comprise residential, retail andcommercial space. The project site is situated near the South Sideon Lamar project, a 45-acre mixed-use redevelopment of MatthewsSouthwest. For the full story, go to Dallas Business Journal .
