The properties here fall into one oftwo categories: Resolved, which representsproperties that have moved out of distress via refinancing orthrough a sale to a financially stable third party, andLender REO, which signifies properties that firstmortgage lenders have taken back through foreclosure. Thetransaction side of the RCA data set sees this as a foreclosuresale with the defaulted mortgagee as seller and the recoveringlender as buyer to show the property changing hands.
