The Urban Land Institute and Ernst & Young are releasingInfrastructure 2012: Spotlight on Leadership during a media-onlywebinar on Wednesday, May 9.

According to a ULI statement, this latest report, the sixth in aseries of infrastructure studies produced by the partnership, willexamine how constrained public budgets and piece-meal federalactivity on infrastructure funding is leading states, regions andcities across the U.S. to take matters into their own hands. Thereport will provide case studies illustrating how local governmentsare attempting to solve their fiscal woes by moving forward withprojects that are necessary to catalyze economic growth.

In addition, the 2012 report will provide a global update on theinfrastructure activities of competitor countries and how they arecontinuing to invest during challenging economic times in order togain a global competitive advantage.
