PARSIPPANY, NJ–Cushman & Wakefield brokershave arranged the lease of a 44,000 square-foot headquarters andregional warehouse in Parsippany for trophy makerFreeman Products Worldwide. The company willexpand to facilities at 71 Walsh Drive here, relocating from alongtime home in Elmwood Park in Bergen County.

Bonnie Heller of C&W represented Freeman innegotiating the new long-term deal. The East Rutherford, NJ-basedbrokerage has a 15-year association with the trophy company, andHeller has personally brokered several previous satellite officeleases.

Walsh Drive Associates, the owners of theParsippany building, were represented by HowardWeinberg and Andrew Houston ofCassidy Turley. The brokerage is currentlyassigned to lease additional spaces in the Fox Hill Industrial Parkwhere Freeman’s new headquarters will be located. The flex space inthe 26-year old complex is offered at $6.25 per square foot.

“My client’s business continues to grow,” Heller says in a release.“This move accommodates its additional space requirements whileproviding a desirable image, value and efficiency. In short, 71Walsh Drive makes sense. Beyond that, the landlord has beenresponsive and accommodating in terms of updating the space, andbuilding out executive and administrative offices to suit FreemanProducts’ needs.”

Freeman Products Worldwide had its origins in 1921 as a brassmachine parts manufacturer, later turning to lamp and lightingproducts manufacture. It is now one of the largest trophy and awardrecognition makers in the country. It has facilities in six statesin addition to New Jersey: California, Georgia, Illinois, NorthCarolina, Ohio and Texas.
