SALT LAKE CITY-KBS Real Estate Investment Trust III has acquiredGateway Tech Center, a five-story, 198,600-square-foot officestructure in downtown Salt Lake City, for $30.3 million. Thebuilding, located at 155 N. 400 West St., was sold by SLHNetInvestments LC.

The building was originally developed as a warehouse in 1909 forSalt Lake City Hardware Co. The building underwent renovation andemerged as Gateway Tech Center in 1996. It is currently 92% leasedto 16 tenants. For the full story, go to Commercial Property Executive .
