AUSTIN-Digital Realty Trust Inc. of SanFrancisco acquired a 62,237-square-foot data center facility for$12.5 million. The Travis County AssessmentDistrict identifies the center's seller asWoo-Norwood LLC of New York City.

The center, built in 1995, is at 8025 N. Interstate 35. Thetransaction included an additional 11.28 acres adjacent to thebuilding that can support up to 135,000 square feet of data centerspace. At one time, the building was leased by InflowInc., which invested more than $15 million during itstenure to convert the building into a data network exchange.

Today the facility is 100% leased on a long-term, triple-netbasis to Sunguard Availability Services, whichprovides integrated disaster recovery, managed services, ITconsulting and business continuity management to clients. According to a release detailing the transaction, thefacility delivers approximately 4.5 MW of critical load over 30,000raised square feet with an N+1 power configuration.
