KIAWAH ISLAND, SC -Kiawah Island Golf Resortconfirmed via press release that it is currently in the beginningstages of planning a 150-room hotel property. Thenew structure would be built on the site of the former KiawahIsland Inn, located on the west side of the island.
At the moment, resort officials are determining the economicviability of such a venture and has enlisted the services of threearchitectural firms – not named in the release – which will presentconceptual designs of the proposed structure.
In addition to the hotel, Kiawah Island Golf Resorts is alsoconsidering several four bedroom golf cottages along the area knownas The Ocean Course.
