ATLANTA—Patricia Morris is taking the chiefreal estate officer reigns at Wells Real EstateFunds. On Aug. 21, she will replace DonHenry, who has decided to pursue new opportunities in thereal estate sector after 10 years with the firm.

“While we are sad to lose a person of the caliber of Don Henry,Patti is highly qualified and absolutely the best person to stepinto Don’s role,” Robert Kennedy, president ofWells Real Estate Funds, tells GlobeSt.com. “Her focus will be tocontinue to build an institutional-quality portfolio forWells Core REIT.”

Morris is stepping up from her current role managing director ofasset management at Wells. She oversees the asset management teamresponsible for Wells Core Office Income REIT and other real estateprograms.
