NEW YORK CITY-Avison Young, the Canadian-basedcommercial real estate services company that is aggressivelyexpanding throughout the United States, is continuing to bulk upits new Manhattan office. The firm has poached JamesDelmonte from Jones Lang LaSalle andElliot Baum from ColliersInternational to join its New York City location.

Delmonte, who joins the firm as principal and VP of research,will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Avison Young’smarket research in the Tri-State area, including tracking in excessof 500 million square feet within more than 2,000 properties. Baum,who joins as a principal and VP of marketing, will be responsiblefor directing the firm’s marketing, public relations and brandingefforts throughout the Tri-State region.
