DEERFIELD, IL-Mondelez International Inc., thenew snack food company being formed in the KraftFoods split, has signed to lease 105,000 square feet atThree Parkway Boulevard N. here, a five-storyoffice building. The firm, splitting off completely from theKraft’s North American grocery business, was named in May with anod to the Latin words for “delicious world.”

The Kraft grocery business will remain at the company’s currentheadquarters at Three Lakes Dr. in Northfield, IL.Mondelez will move about 400 employees to the 255,000-square-footParkway North property, a Kraft spokesman tells GlobeSt.com. Thetiming of the company split is not yet known, but the move wouldfollow the split, he says.

The John Buck Co. owns the building here. Theoffice is currently almost full, but anchor tenant Astellas PharmaUS Inc. is moving out to fill its new $150 million headquarterscomplex in Glenview, IL.
