EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ-Triple Five, the developerof the American Dream Meadowlands entertainment/retail complex –formerly Xanadu – has moved for dismissal of a lawsuit filedagainst its development by the two New York professional footballteams.

At the same time, Triple Five announced a new partnership withDreamWorks Animation SKG to create an indoor themepark at American Dream featuring DreamWorks film characters. Thepark would be the first in North America built around favoriteDreamworks characters like Shrek and Kung Fu Panda, and theanimated casts of How to Train Your Dragon, Puss inBoots, and Madagascar.

“American Dream at Meadowlands is poised to become aone-of-a-kind retail and entertainment destination in NorthAmerica,” says Jeffrey Katzenberg, CEO ofDreamWorks Animation in a release. “We look forward to working withTriple Five Worldwide to incorporate DreamWorks Animationcharacters, storytelling and technology into a unique andinnovative family entertainment experience at the venue.”
