NEW YORK CITY-Rob Speyer, president andco-chief executive officer of Tishman Speyer, willsucceed CBRE's Mary Ann Tighe as chair of theReal Estate Board of New York. His term begins inJanuary 2013.
Speyer’s assumption of the chairmanship represents the firsttime in REBNY’s 117-year history that the post will be occupied bythree succeeding generations of a single family. Jerry Speyer,Speyer’s father, served as chairman from 1986 to 1988. Hisgrandfather, Robert V. Tishman, held the position from 1972 to1975.
