EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ–A lawsuit by the New York Jets and Giantsfootball teams aimed at squelching Triple Five’sAmerican Dream Meadowlands project before all final approvals aregranted was thrown out of court Thursday. Yet both the developerand the teams declared themselves happy to still be in thegame.

While Judge Peter E. Doyne disallowed theteams’ claim that they have preliminary veto power over TripleFive’s plan to add water and amusement parks to the retail andentertainment complex that stands half-built beside MetLifeStadium, he kept alive a related complaint in which the teams sayTriple Five should have consulted it before expanding theirplan.
