SAN ANTONIO-Construction has launched on the 323-unitResidences of La Cantera. The high-end luxurymultifamily property and accompanying4,000-square-foot retail component represent phase one of themixed-use, 178-acre Town Center at La Cantera,which is being developed by USAA Real EstateCo.

Cambridge Development of Houston is handlingdevelopment for Residences of La Cantera, which will be situated onfive acres at 6215 Via La Cantera. The first phase will alsoinclude a three-acre park, complete with an urban plaza and lawn,adventure playground, a wet pond and picnic area.

The Residences at La Cantera offers studio to three-bedroomfloor plans ranging from 553 square feet to 1,785 square feet. Theproject's general contractor is CF JordanConstruction of Dallas; the engineer isPape-Dawson Engineers of San Antonio, withRicks Kiss Architecture of Memphis the architectof record and Austin-based J. Robert Anderson thelandscape architect. Riverstone Residential Groupof San Antonio will manage the property upon completion.
