NEW YORK CITY-Menicucci, Villa &Associates—one of Staten Island’s go-to law firms forresidential real estate matters—is expanding its reach into thecommercial space. The Victory Boulevard-based firm has hiredattorney Michael M. Amtzis to head its commercialreal estate department, effective after Labor Day.
Known locally for his legal expertise and knowledge of theIsland’s real estate market, Amtzis honed his legal skills for 30years at Lee & Amtzis, a firm in theWesterleigh section of the borough he operated until 2011 withattorney and land developer R. Randy Lee. Thepractice was devoted almost entirely to owners, developers, homebuilders and mortgage lenders throughout Manhattan, theouter-boroughs and New Jersey.
