NEW YORK CITY-CBRE arranged the sale of a swankresidential building on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, according to arecent company release. The multifamily propertyin a pre-war building was sold to Simon DevelopmentGroup and Cube Capital for nearly $70 million. Thebuilding also features 113 units, which can potentially be combinedinto larger spaces, CBRE says.

According to the statement, Paul Leibowitz,executive vice president, CBRE, expressed: “The 393 West End Avetransaction met the new owner’s objectives by delivering a superiorUpper West Side corner location combined with potential upwardrepositioning.”

This latest sake comes hot on the trail of the Brewster Building sale – another transaction for whichCBRE was responsible. This property went for $98 million and wasbought by Cornerstone with Adelco, as Globest.comreported earlier this year – at time at which it was noted thatCBRE were actively marketing the 393 West End Ave. property.
