FREMONT, CA-Seagate Technology Plc, based in Dublin, Ireland, istaking over the former headquarters and manufacturing plant ofSolyndra LLC. The company is buying the former solar manufacturingfacility in Fremont.
Reuters reported that the 31,000-square-foot facility wasexpected to change hands for about $150 million. The Fremontbuilding, which sits on 30 acres, cost over $300 million and it wasdeveloped in 2010. Jones Lang LaSalle handled the deal.
