NEW YORK CITY-Chadbourne & Parke, theinternational law firm once rumored to be taking space at One WorldTrade Center, will be establishing its new corporate headquartersin Midtown, GlobeSt.com has learned. According to a formalannouncement from Chadbourne released late Thursday, the firm hasofficially inked a 200,000-square-foot deal for a 20-year terminside Dewey & LeBeouf’s former space at 1301Avenue of the Americas, making it one of the largest office movesin the city to date.

Chadbourne, currently located at 30 Rockefeller Plaza and bestknown for its practices in renewable energy, project finance,M&A, tax, litigation and bankruptcy, will begin movingoperations to its new location at 1301 Sixth Ave. immediately.Earlier this year, Dewey, the former tenant, vacated the spaceinside the Paramount Group-owned skyscraperfollowing a criminal probe of the law firm’s practices by theManhattan District Attorney’s Office and eventual bankruptcy.
