NEW YORK CITY-Brooklyn is booming. Globest.com’s East Coastreporter, Jacqueline Hlavenka recently reported on theinvestment opportunities coming to this borough. In this particulararticle, AvisonYoung principal MartinCottingham named Downtown Brooklyn as amarket to watch, being that there should be exciting developmentsin its “Tech Triangle.” In that vein, the new Lexington Inn in thislucriative neighborhood is certainly an advantageous move for thehotel brand.

According to a company statement, a former Quality Inn hasbecome a Lexington Inn and it is located right in the thick of newdevelopments. The hotel property is situated at 2473 AtlanticAvenue in Brooklyn and has 49 guest rooms. In the same statement,group president Bill Hanley expressed that he anticipates Lexingtonwill continue expanding, and will take on a minimum of 15properties in 2012.
