HOUSTON-Transwestern and joint venture partnerMiller Global Properties LLC of Denver arereadying to begin construction on the 660,000-square-foot Westgate,a three-building, class A office complex in the Energy Corridor.The project, which is 67% preleased.

The development will be situated on close to 21 acres on thenorth side of Interstate 10, east of Barker Cypress Road.Transwestern and Miller Global recently acquired the acreage fromHearst Corp. The development will consist of three buildings;building one will measure 248,500 square feet; building two willmeasure 186,000 square feet and building three will measure 225,500square feet.

The floor plates will range from 46,500 square feet to 62,125square feet. Each building is served by its own multilevel parkingstructure with a ratio of 4.25 spaces per 1,000 square feet. Thebuildings have been pre-certified LEED
