IRVINE, CA-Manulife Financial Corp., a Toronto-based financialservices company, has purchased The Michelson, a 19-story officetower near John Wayne Airport in Irvine, from Emmes. Sourcesfamiliar with the deal said that the office building traded forover $500 per square foot, or about $270 million.

The 536,000-square-foot building is situated the Park Placecampus. Current tenants in the building include LA FitnessInternational LLC, Hyundai Capital America and several notable lawfirms. For the full story, go to Orange County Business Journal .
