WASHINGTON, DC-When the Supreme Court ruledearlier this year that the Affordable Health CareAct was constitutional, the commercial realestate industry had its marching plans for the health-carespace. Or so they thought.

Perhaps because it was summer and the presidential electionseemed an eternity away, or perhaps because people just wantedcertainty, but after the Supremes spoke, there was littlediscussion about what would happen to the industry if the law wereoverturned. That changed last night in the presidentialdebates. Republican nominee Gov. MittRomney addressed the subject of the law in no uncertainterms: under his administration he would try to repeal it.
