AUSTIN-DivcoWest, based in San Francisco,bought two historic office buildings in the CBD from Heitman LLC.The two assets acquired were the 110,254-square-foot LittlefieldBuilding and the 129,914-square-foot Scarborough, both of whichwere built during the early 1900s.

The Littlefield Building, at 106 E. Sixth St., was developed byGeorge W. Littlefield and opened in 1912 with AmericanNational Bank as the major tenant. The building iscurrently 86 percent leased with major tenants includingCapital One and HQ Global.

The Scarborough, at 101 W. 6th St., is 93%leased. The building was the brainchild of department storebaron E.M. Scarborough, who developed and openedit in 1908, where it housed Scarborough's flagship store for manyyears. Today's tenants include Ruth's Chris Steakehouse,Gold's Gym and Brooks Brothers on theretail level, and Frog Design andWeissComm Group in the office component. Both buildings underwent extensive renovation in the late1990s.
