SHEFFIELD, UK-Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM), whichmanages the Norwegian Government Pension Fund Global, has acquired50% stake in Meadowhall Shopping Centre for GBP 348 million. Thefund bought the stake in the 1.5-million-square-foot shoppingcenter from a joint venture between Green Park Investments andLondon & Stamford Property.
Meadowhall, which comprises 219 shops, 30 catering units, 53kiosks and an 11-screen theater, is situated on the border ofSheffield. British Land will operate the retail center for thepartnership. For the full story, go to Europe Real Estate .
