SANTA ROSA,CA-Basin Street Properties has beenon a shopping spree and picked up 17 office properties forapproximately $70 million. The portfolio includes thefollowing:

  • The Fountaingrove Center (pictured): Threebuildings totaling 161,055 square feet.
  • Fountaingrove Executive Center: One building at 37,428 squarefeet.
  • Oak Valley Business Center: Three buildings at 131,725 squarefeet.
  • Airport Corporate Center or 3850 & 3880 Brickway Blvd: Twobuildings covering 128,540 square feet.
  • The Lakes: Five buildings spanning 140,645 square feet.
  • Waterfall Towers: Three buildings over 95,056 square feet.

According to a company release, the plan is to invest inthese office properties to make upgrades across the board.Currently, the portfolio is 77% leased. The developer is lookinginto increasing occupancy and has been in talks with tenantsthere.

In 2005, Globest.com reported that

in 2005, Basin Street sold portions of its North Bay portfolioto Equity office for $263 million. In 2011, Basin Street bought 8buildings in Petaluma, Calif., and combined with the 17 buildingsin Santa Rosa, has purchased 25 Sonoma County buildings since 2011.23 of those buildings were part of the portfolio previously sold toEquity Office in 2005.
