CHICAGO-Freddie Mac has financed $49.4 million to a jointventure for the purchase of a 278-unit apartment tower situated at1401 S. State Street in the South Loop. The joint venture headed byMarquette Cos. based in Naperville acquired the 22-floormultifamily complex for a price of $69.6 million.
