HOUSTON-Transwestern is readying to breakground on a 30-acre parcel at Mason Creek Corporate Center, locatedin the Energy Corridor submarket. The developer and itsinstitutional partner will launch construction in November on aspeculative industrial complex totaling 384,900 square feet, withdelivery set for Q3, 2013.

The 110-acre Mason Creek Corporate Center is a master-plannedland development at Interstate 10 and Mason Road, under ownershipof Parkside Capital LLC. The Transwestern projectwill be situated on Park Row on the north side of the center.

The Transwestern project will consist of five buildings:

  • Building I: 45,000-square-foot, 24’ clear, rear loadbuilding
  • Building II: 64,350-square-foot, 24’ clear, rear loadbuilding
  • Building III: 121,500-square-foot, 28’ clear, cross dockbuilding
  • Building IV: 79,950-square-foot, 24’ clear, front loadbuilding
  • Building V: 74,100-square-foot, 28’ clear, front loadbuilding

Munson Kennedy Partnership is the architect.Pete Johnston, Transwestern’s senior vicepresident of development services; Carleton Riser,managing director of developments services, and SteveKilcrease, vice president, are handling the design anddevelopment effort.
