CHICAGO-John Morris has been namedCushman & Wakefield Inc.'s Leader ofIndustrial Services for the Americas, effective Jan. 1, 2013.Morris will succeed the company's executive vice president andcurrent head of the service line, Jim Dieter, whostepped into the role in early 2010.

Deiter will remain with Cushman & Wakefield through 2013 asthe company works toward growing its industrial practice, the hubof which is based here. "This leadership succession plan gives ourcompany the opportunity to build on what Jim Dieter has built overthe past three years, leveraging his skills and experience whiletransitioning one of our rising stars into a leadership role," saysJim Underhill, C&S's CEO of the Americas in apress release.

Morris currently leads Cushman & Wakefield's Global BusinessConsulting service line. He joined the company in 2005 and hasexpertise in network and location strategy for industrialoperations, as well as an extensive background in supply chainstrategy, network design, cost reduction and transportationoperations.
