GlobeSt.com: We're a little more than a week awayfrom the general election. How is that impacting hospitals and thehealthcare industry?

Mike Brown: The Republicans have madeit clear the intention to repeal and replace the Affordable CareAct, but what it becomes replaced with is the big question. IfObama is re-elected, we could see a pick-up in real estatedevelopment. Right now the main hesitation is that it doesn't makesense to expand services associated with the law, as written, ifthe law isn't going to be in place. Issues such as reimbursementand program development are some of the things community hospitalsare looking at.
