NORWOOD, MA-Virginia-based CarMax has bought a land parcel offCarnegie Row on Norwood's AutoMile for $20 million with plans todevelop a showroom for housing 400 vehicles. The Patriot Ledgerreported that the exiting the 115,000-square-foot building, whichformerly housed Home Quarters Warehouse, will be torn down to makeway for the new auto superstore.

The Ledger reported that CarMax has plans to employ almost 125workers at the auto superstore. The company has only one dealershipin Massachusetts in North Attleborough. For the full story, goto Boston Business Journal .
