ORLANDO-Taylor Morrison Inc. has purchased a 270-acre site inHamlin in west Orange County's Horizon West area for $17 millionwith plans to develop a 381-lot residential neighborhood. TheScottsdale, Arizona-based company is planning to launch sales onthe Overlook at Hamlin next summer.
Taylor Morrison of Florida Inc. purchased the land from SLFIV/Boyd Horizon West JV LLC, a unit related to Boyd DevelopmentCorp. of Orlando. Boyd Development is developing the nearly $1billion Hamlin project with Dallas-based Stratford Land. For thefull story, go to Orlando Business Journal .
