Maybe all of these stores planning to stage big holiday sales on Thanksgiving Day isn't such agood idea after all. In the case of Walmart, workers could protest by going onstrike at about 1,000 stores on Black Friday asretaliation, according to reports.

Stores impacted could be in large cities like Chicago, LosAngeles and Miami. Walmart currently has plans to open its storesat 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving this year.

The term "Black Friday" could start to loose a lot of itsmeaning as Walmart and others try to get people to come out onThanksgiving to do their shopping. Target andSears are also opening on Thanksgiving evening,while plenty of other major chains will open midnight on BlackFriday.
