BIRMINGHAM, AL-Rosemont Capital Group has purchased the fifthlargest office tower in Birmingham following its acquisition of theprevious owner of the building. The real estate firm based in SantaFe, New Mexico, is moving One Federal Place, a 10-story officetower, to a different fund after purchasing the BGK InvestmentGroup, the former owner of the building, in 2010.

BKG purchased the 300,012-square-foot building from a jointventure of Atlanta-based Barry Real Estate Cos. and Sloss RealEstate Group Inc. in 2005. For the full story, go to Birmingham Business Journal .
