PHOENIX-Weidner Investment Services has picked up its 28thapartment project in Arizona for $30.1 million. The Seattle-basedcompany purchased the apartment project, called La Palma, in northPhoenix from LAP La Palma Apartments Phoenix LP, a trade namecontrolled by Newport Beach, California-based WLA Investmentsentities.

The multifamily property, constructed in 1984, includes 548apartment units, two clubhouses, multiple sports courts and fourswimming pools, and is situated at Bell Road and 3rd Avenue. Forthe full story, go to Phoenix Business Journal .
