HOBOKEN, NJ-SJP Properties, which currently has$1 billion worth of projects under construction in New Jerseyincluding Waterfront Corporate Center III – forwhich ground was broken here this week - has a newfinancial partner on this development: USAA.

The insurance company's real estate investment arm was “lookingto put money into a project in the New York metropolitan area, andwe developed a relationship with them,” SJP's executivevice-president Jeff Schotz tells GlobeSt.com.

“Equity partners very often move in and out of markets, orproduct type,” says Schotz, “and we're always looking for partnersfor projects in development.”
