SAN FRANCISCO-MacFarlane Partners, based in San Francisco, hasgrabbed the last remaining development site in Mid-Market withplans to construct a 12-story residential building there. Thehousing developer acquired the 1125 Market St. property for $7.8million.

The developer has not yet chosen an architect for13,000-square-foot site, which could house a 113,000-square-footbuilding. In the deal, the seller was represented by KidderMathews' Clayton Jew and David Wientjes, while the buyer wasrepresented by TRI Commercial's Gary Cohen and Anton Qiu.
