SAN JOSE, CA-Earlier today, GlobeSt.com reported thatGucci, which recently marked a decade atSantana Row, will undergo a complete interiorremodel along with façade enhancement beginning in the summer 2013.In addition, we reported that Tommy Bahama is alsoundergoing a renovation at the retail complex next year.

Jan Sweetnam, VP of the Western Region and COOof Federal Realty Investment Trust, Santana Row'sparent company, tells GlobeSt.com that those renovations mentionedabove are just a few of the many things the center has in theworks.

Sweetnam notes that next year, construction will continue onMisora, a new 212-unit rental living communityopening in October, “to keep up with the increasing demand forresidential offerings at Santana Row.” In February,construction began on the resort-style residential rentalcommunity. It will be located behind Diesel and Pasta Pomodoro, andwill bring the total number of residences at Santana Row to 834;615 of which are rentals. The new project also includes a 370 stallresident parking garage.
