REDONDO BEACH, CA- The iconic Dive n' Surfshop, which has been a South Bay fixture since 1953, has received a$3-million refinancing that will allow it to build a new corporateheadquarters here.

The inventors of Body Glove, the originalwetsuit manufacturer, the Dive n' Surf has been a landmark in theSouthern California beach culture. Farmers & MerchantsBank will provide the funding for the store renovation,which includes a new corporate headquarters on the building'ssecond floor and a renovated retail space on the ground floor.

The expansion will take the building from 6464 square feet tonearly 14,800 square feet, allowing Body Glove to remain in theSouth Bay area. In addition to providing expanded retail floorspace and offices, Body Glove plans improvements to the surroundingstreets to improve accessibility and beautify the area.
