Chad Knibbe, senior associate; BethanyBabcock, associate; Preet Sabharwal,senior associate; and Britt Raymond, associate, inMarcus & Millichap's San Antonio and Manhattan offices, listedthe property on behalf of the seller, a limited liabilitycompany. The buyer, whose identity was not disclosed, intendsto add value to the 13-year-old asset by improving the occupancyand enhancing returns.
Located at 2730 S. Brahma Blvd., the center features suchtenants as Cato and the Shoe Department and is located outside ofWalmart, which drives heavy traffic to the center. According toMarcus & Millichap, several investors were attracted to theasset but it was ultimately acquired by a Texas-based investorfamiliar with the submarket.
