NEW YORK CITY-Avison Young has announced thecompletion of an approximately 57,000-square-foot new office leaseon behalf of law firm Meister Seelig & FeinLLP at SL Green Realty Corp.'s125 Park Ave., across the street from Grand CentralTerminal.
The move marks a big expansion for the firm, which currentlyoccupies about 38,000 square feet at 140 E. 45th Street. MeisterSeelig will take occupancy of its new space at 125 Park Ave. nextyear, after its build-out is completed. The lease comprises theentire seventh and eigth floors of the building.
Avison Young VP Jason Meister representedMeister Seelig & Fein in the transaction, alongwith Colliers International vicechairman Howard Grufferman. SL Green wasrepresented in house by DavidKaufman. ScottNewmark and Robin Topol ofMeister Seelig & Fein served as in-house legal counsel for thedeal, while NoahShapiro and LisaGreenbaum of Haynes and BooneLLP represented the building owner, SLGreen.
