LOS ANGELES-Jones Lang LaSalle has hired seniorhousing expert Alan Ursillo to accommodate thegrowing demand for senior housing and the changinghealthcare landscape. Ursillo will join JLL as SVPfocusing on senior housing sales and working directly under theHealthcare Capital Market's managing directorMindy Berman.

When Ursillo began looking for a new company, he thought hisexperience and attributes fit best with JLL's healthcare platformand collaborative environment. “I laid out my plans and where Ifelt the industry was going to go, and it aligned best with JLL,”he tells GlobeSt.com. “Its platform fit my expectations and goalsfor what we want to do in the future, and we feel that we havefound a permanent home here.” That “we” refers to up-and-coming“superstar” Curtis Fowlie, formerly ofCBRE, who Ursillo brought in as his partner.

Ursillo joins JLL with 25 years of experience in thecommercial real estate industry, where he has sold$150 million in assets. He has formerly worked with Grubband Ellis before its bankruptcy, and then joined CBRE whenit was the largest global senior housing brokerage company.
