COLUMBIA, MD—Howard County has entered anagreement to acquire the former Columbia Flierbuilding here and plans to relocate the Maryland Center forEntrepreneurship to the nearly 30,000-square-footproperty.

The county is looking to purchase the two-story building at10750 Little Patuxent Parkway for $2.8 million from Baltimore Sunparent company Tribune Co.

The entrepreneurship center provides support services andworkspace for entrepreneurs and early stage companies. The centerwill move from its current offices on Bendix Road once renovationsto its new space are complete. Its existing office will be used forother county operations, according to the Baltimore BusinessJournal.
