ALHAMBRA, CA—The Ratkovich Co. has signedexpanded lease renewals and expansions with two ofits core tenants at the Alhambra, a 45-acremixed-use complex. Eastern Los AngelesRegional Center and Platt College werethe two tenants to sign the lease renewals for a total of more than132,000 square feet of office space.

Eastern Los Angeles Regional Center signed the largest lease for91,728 square feet with a 10-year term. The new lease expands thetenant's footprint by 4,000 square feet. It has been a tenant inthe location since 1996, and at the time provided communityservices to 4,000 California residents with disabilities. Today,the organization serves 9,800, growth that has encouraged the needfor additional space.

Platt College signed a lease for 40,812 square feet and extendedits lease term by seven years. The school has occupied space in thebuilding for a decade, growing from 200 students to 500 studentsduring that time. The new space will allow Platt to add additionalclassrooms for its growing student body.
