SAN FRANCISCO—Columbia Pacific Advisors, aSeattle-based alternative investment firm, acquired 939Ellis Street, an office building that has approximately116,000 total square feet. The property is locatedin downtown San Francisco's notable Van NessCorridor, an area that has experienced explosive growth inrecent years. Columbia Pacific purchased the building fromBay Area Air Quality Management District(“BAAQMD”). BAAQMD will remain in the building as a tenantthrough 2015.

Columbia Pacific engaged San Francisco-based Long MarketProperty Partners (“LMPP”) to assist with the investmentand leasing oversight. Located in one of San Francisco's mostrecognized thoroughfares, the property is situated among high-riseresidential complexes, medical and government buildings, culturalcenters, and hotels as well as some of the city's most renownedrestaurants.
