WACO, TX–Asset Campus Housing has plans inplace to build an off-campus student housing community forBaylor University students. Construction willbegin this Spring, with completion slated for the start of the 2015school year. The total development cost was not disclosed.

“Along with the outstanding need of high-end, quality studenthousing, and with the addition of the football stadium, there is anundeniable buzz surrounding this university,” BarrettKirk, senior vice president of development for AssetCampus, tells GlobeSt.com.

The Domain at Waco will include 186 units for atotal of 564 beds. Floor plans within the gated community will varyto include one- two- and four-bedroom apartments and townhomes. Theaverage unit size will be roughly 1,188 square feet. Residents willsign individual leases, responsible only for their bed and not therent of the entire apartment.
