NEW YORK CITY–Colliers International has hired Richard Charkhamas an executive director. Most recently an SVP at Centric RealEstate, he brings more than 19 years of legal and real estateexperience to the firm.

More specifically, Charkham offers expertise in advisingcorporate tenants—particularly American subsidiaries of Israeli andBritish companies—on their real estate strategies, including theimplementation of the acquisition and disposition of office spacethroughout the US and other areas of the Americas.

Throughout his real estate career, Charkham has completed morethan four million square feet of transactions, including therelocation and expansion of the US headquarters in New York of theEconomist Newspaper Group, Institutional Investor, Sentinel RealEstate, CFO Publishing and Human Rights First. He also hascompleted acquisitions and dispositions in multiple markets withinthe US and multiple global locations for companies such as Amdocs,NICE Systems and Comverse, among others.
